Roberto B. Crisol, President & Chief Executive Officer, Filipino
President of the Company effective January 1, 2009. He was PhilNaRe's former Executive Vice-President and COO from 2002 to 2007. He started his insurance career in 1974 with the then Insular Life-FGU Insurance Group. Through the years, he rose to management ranks and was a senior executive with the former Universal Reinsurance Corporation as well as with the Asian Regional Office of Mapfre Compania De Reaseguros. He completed his primary and secondary education at the Ateneo de Manila University and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, major in Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines. He has attended various insurance, reinsurance and management courses locally as well as overseas. He also served in various capacities in the insurance associations and was a lecturer on reinsurance.

Armando S. Malabanan, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Filipino
Mr. Armando S. Malabanan joined the Company on March 1, 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Malabanan was the General Manager and CEO of Asian Reinsurance Corp. and chief accountant of The Charter Insurance Co. (now Philippine Charter Insurance Co.). He earned his Masters of Management from Sasin GIBA-Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Mapua Institute of Technology. Mr. Malabanan is a Certified Public Accountant.

Raymundo T. Bautista, Jr., Senior Vice President, Head of Life and Corporate Services Divisions, Filipino
Mr. Raymundo T. Bautista, Jr. joined the Company in 1998 as Senior Manager and has worked in Life, Claims, Human Resources, Corporate Planning, Finance & Administration Departments. He previously worked as Vice President for Corporate Planning, Business Development, Actuarial Services & Commercial Operations for Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, Project Officer of the World Bank-funded Agricultural Loan Fund and Vice Chairman of the Board of Pool of Livestock Insurers. He graduated with a degree in BS Mathematics – Minor in Physics at the Mapua Institute of Technology in 1971 and a Masters in Business Administration at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 1980.

John E. Huang, Senior Vice President, Head of Finance Division, Filipino
Mr. John E. Huang joined UMRe in 2004 as its Chief Finance Officer. Prior to joining UMRe. Mr. Huang held the positions of Chief Financial Officer of C&P Homes Inc., Senior Vice President of Urban Bank, and VP First National Bank of Boston. He graduated with a degree in AB Economics at the Ateneo De Manila University in 1978 and a Masters in Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA in 1982.

Rodolfo M. Nayve, Senior Vice President, Head of Non Life Division, Filipino
Mr. Rodolfo M. Nayve joined UMRe as its Vice President in 1996. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science Business Administration from the Philippine School of Business Administration in 1979. He earned units in Masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School in 1981 and attended an Advance Insurance Management Course from the Asian Institute of Management in 1998. He attended various seminars locally and abroad on insurance and management in the course of his career.

Alfonso L. Salcedo Jr, Treasurer, Filipino
Director and Treasurer of the Company since June 2002. He is also a director of BPI/MS Insurance Corporation, the President and Director of BPI Family Savings Bank, Inc. He served as President of Allstate Life Insurance (Phils.), Country Marketing Director of Citibank, N.A. (Manila), Marketing Manager of Nippon Vicks KK (Japan) and Richardson Vicks Philippines. He graduated with a degree in AB Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1977. He also took an Advanced Management Program course at the Harvard Business School in 2006.

Zenaida L. Salipsip, Corporate Secretary, Filipino
Ms. Zenaida L. Salipsip has served as the Company’s Corporate Secretary since June 2002. She is a former Partner of Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose Law Offices, and is currently a consultant for special projects of the same law firm. She is also the Corporate Secretary of D.M. Consunji, Inc., DMCI Project Developers, Inc., Eco Process & Equipment Phils., Inc., Bachy Solentanche Philippines Corporation, Pricon Microelectronics, Inc., Dacon Insurance Brokers, Inc., Nihon Garter Philippines, Inc., Software AG (Philippines), Inc., Sony Life Insurance (Philippines Corporation), Singtel (Philippines), Inc., Wire Rope Corporation of the Philippines, Sherwood Hills Golf Club, Inc., and Boehringher Ingelheim Medical Science Foundation, Inc. She graduated with degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce – Major in Economics at the Far Eastern University in 1962, a Bachelor of Law at the Far Eastern University in 1967 and a Masters in National Security Administration at the National Defense College of the Philippines in 1984.
